The Ability Update

The Ability Update is HERE!#

Every Pokémon now has its real ability from the games! New catches will now roll between their species' abilities, and a caught wild spawn will keep the one it fought you with. Your existing Pokémon have all been given their abilities too! Do /pokemon info to see it!

Abilities work exactly like they should in battles!

🌦️ And you can SEE the weather now! The scene will change and the tag in the top right corner tells you what you are standing in.

Legendaries got an UPGRADE!#

A defeated legendary no longer just flees forever. If you lose to one, or even knock it out, it may linger nearby and RETURN to the same channel later. Catching it is the only way to permanently secure it!

And a whole lot more changes#

• 🥚 The Day Care welcomes Hoenn. Every Hoenn Pokémon can now breed properly. Ditto included. Go make some Eggs.
• 🤝 Trading got friendlier. You can receive a Pokémon up to 5 levels above your highest level Pokémon! This also applies to the Market as well!
• 📋 Research refreshes daily. Finish a task and a new one takes its place 24 hours later. Finishing all three still rewards you with a bonus.
• ⚔️ Losing lets someone else encounter. If you white out, the wild encounter now stays in the channel for another trainer. You will still only have one chance with that Pokémon!
• 🎒 /team is now /party
• 📟 Live status is now shown! You can now see the live status of the bot at catchemcord.com/status, plus a status channel here that will ping if something is wrong.
• 🐛 Fixes. Timer Ball works exactly like the games now. Boxes are now fully pickable, with pages and a search function.
