Spawn update, evolution scenes and a /config rework
Ignored encounters wander off so busy channels flow better, evolutions got a rendered scene, and /config got a full rework.
Spawn update: the encounters keep moving#
Wild Pokémon appear in chat just like before. The more your server talks, the more show up. However there is a slight change. When your chat has already earned the next spawn, an ignored encounter now wanders off after a short moment instead of sitting there blocking the next spawn (previously was 3 minutes). Busy channels flow better and no spawns get wasted, leading to more overall spawns! Spawns now have a 30 second grace period after the next spawn is triggered so they don't instantly leave. Mid-encounters are not affected.
One more important thing, a shiny that spawns and flees without anyone ever encountering it is no longer lost forever. It stays in the tall grass and wanders back later. But if you met a shiny and it got away from you, it's gone forever!
Legendaries are untouched by all of these changes and will still last 3 minutes.
Evolutions got a revamp#
Evolving Pokémon now get a rendered scene: "What? Abra is evolving!" with the reveal following right after. Victory screens got a new look as well. Every public card now credits its trainer, so you always know whose Pokémon just won or evolved.
For server admins: /config got a full rework#
New servers get a brand new, quick two step setup. The panel now warns you if the bot can't post in your spawn channel. Also, level-up announcements can route to your spawn channel to keep chat clean. Run /config to make any changes!
