Wild Spawn Level Fix

A progression trick let players force much stronger wilds to appear. The whole progression system got looked into and changed, and Training Level is the result.

What changed#

A progression trick let players catch a stronger wild Pokémon than expected, lead it, and force even stronger wilds to appear. Some climbed far past where their team had actually earned. Due to this, the whole progression system got looked into and changed.

Due to this, we introduced a new system called Training Level. Wild Pokémon now appear up to 5 levels above your earned Training Level, and cap at Level 60. Your strong catches are still yours and still fully usable. Your teams and Pokémon are unaffected.

Trading or releasing a Pokémon no longer lowers the progress you've earned. Real improvements to high-level (60+) XP grind are coming separately.

You can now see your Training Level, and exactly how wild levels work, right in /pokemon list. 🎓

Keep it coming#

We're actively balancing the whole bot, so expect more improvements as we go. Spot something that feels off? Tell us, we'd rather hear it than not. And if you have ideas, send them our way. A lot of what we add starts as a player suggestion.

Big thanks to the player who found this and reported it instead of quietly using it. 🫡
