Two turn moves no longer look like a frozen battle
Dig, Bounce, Fly and Shadow Force made a trainer battle look like it had locked up. It hadn't, but the move screen gave you no way to tell. Plus a fix for move PP showing the wrong numbers after Hyper Beam.
The frozen looking battle#
When your Pokémon is partway through a two turn move, the games only let you finish that move. You can't switch and you can't pick something else. That part was working.
What wasn't working was how it looked. The move screen still showed all four of your moves with three of them greyed out and the Switch button dead, so a battle you could carry on with read as a battle that had crashed. Thanks to desqtheshadow and astrea_yt for reporting it, one on Dig and Bounce, the other on Giratina's Shadow Force.
Now a locked turn shows the one move you can actually use, on its own, the way the games do it. Wild battles already worked this way. Trainer battles were the odd one out.
Move PP after Hyper Beam#
Using Hyper Beam or Giga Impact left your Pokémon needing to recharge, and the recharge turn was quietly overwriting its move list. After it wore off, every move on the panel showed a PP count from a different scale, so a move that started the battle at 20/20 could be sitting at 56/56 a few turns later.
Nobody reported this one. It turned up while we were chasing the first bug. Your Pokémon were never actually losing moves or PP, the panel was just reporting nonsense. It reads correctly now, in wild battles and the Trainer Circuit as well.
